Our June 5 Regulatory Update Seminar (to be held at the NJ Law Center in New Brunswick, 9:30 AM - 12:30 PM) will be packed with information on new regulations and public policies that affect your business. Our first panel, moderated by Michael Seeve of Mountain Development Corp., will feature key DCA (Department of Community Affairs) Codes & Standards personnel and industry experts discussing NAIOP-supported initiatives to improve the local permit, code review and inspection process: Ed Smith, Director Division of Codes & Standards; John Terry, Division of Codes & Standards; Ed Klimek, KSS Architects; and Ed McDonald, Boston Properties.
Our second panel will discuss the new State Strategic Plan in depth: Dan Kennedy (Office for Planning Advocacy), Michelle Siekerka (Department of Environmental Protection) and Andy Swords (Department of Transportation) are confirmed. Our moderator will be State Planning Commission Member Tom Michnewicz of Somerset Development.
