Technology, radical mobility, the sharing economy, big data and the influence of millennials have caused a seismic shift in how and where we create and use workspace. Hear the latest on this revolution in workspace design & usage trends, and learn how to tap the “sharing” economic potential in your portfolio at NAIOP NJ’s October 21 seminar.

The program will feature two segments, beginning with Keynote speaker Andrea Foertsch (Principal, Disruptive Space & Melrose Real Estate Strategies) on Honing the Innovative Workspace. "Innovation, technology and mobility are shaking up what has conventionally made a property successful. It's less about warehousing workers and increasingly about attracting and facilitating ideas," says Foertsch. The second segment will feature an expert panel on trends in building design that will include discussions on big data, designing a connected and sustainable workspace, cybersecurity and maximizing your building connectivity for tenants. Panelists:

  • Steve Messaros, SVP Chief Information Officer, Liberty Property Trust
  • Gaurav Gupta, Advisory Partner, Ernst & Young:  Analytics-Enabling Speed to Value Capture
  • Robert Kellner, AIA, Spiezle Group: Designing a Connected and Sustainable Workspace
  • Alan Heyman, Managing Director, SMLR Group: Cyber Security & Governance - Risk Avoidance

Welcoming remarks will be delivered by our host Morris Davis, Paul V. Profeta Chair of Real Estate, Rutgers Business School.

Registration, networking & breakfast at 7:45 AM, program starts 8:30 AM at the Rutgers Business School Bove Auditorium, Newark (directions).
