Annual Public Policy Symposium

The entire legislature is up for election this fall: which party has the best plan to bring jobs back to New Jersey?

2011 is a BIG year for New Jersey: before we even get to the November elections, we'll see Round II of the Budget Battle, legislative redistricting and the loss of a congressional seat. Join us at the Heldrich on March 4 for NAIOP NJ’s always provocative Public Policy Symposium. The commercial real estate sector will not see real recovery until New Jersey regains private-sector jobs, but we're still burdened with the COAH jobs tax and our economy continues to struggle under the weight of public sector worker entitlements. Has the Democrat-controlled Legislature made the case for re-election, or will the Republicans gain meaningful ground this fall?

Senate President Steve Sweeney, Senate Minority Leader Tom Kean and Assembly Minority Leader Alex DeCroce have already confirmed, Assembly Speaker Sheila Oliver has been invited. NAIOP NJ President George Sowa and VP Public Affairs Michael Seeve will moderate. Get your questions ready and register today!

Registration/breakfast/networking begins at 8:15 AM, followed by the program at 9:00 AM.
