The "Amazon Effect" and other major disruptors are informing and shaping redevelopment and investment decisions. From local economic development groups to individual developers, our panel will discuss how different entities and sectors are positioning themselves to take on the challenges and opportunities of labor shortages, trade tariffs, shared workspace, and more. We will also examine the evolving relationships among economic development organizations, towns and developers in the wake of the Amazon HQ2 RFP process, and hear the CRE outlook for the region from Dr. Alexander Heil, Chief Economist for the Port Authority of NY & NJ.
