Part 1 FEMA’s Revised Flood Maps:  Superstorm Sandy changed NJ’s landscape and FEMA’s Revised Flood Maps raise serious questions for the real estate community. Richard Burrow of Langan Engineering & Environmental Services will provide a detailed overview of: FEMA’s rules and regulations for building in flood zones; site mapping; flood mitigation practices; insurance and lender issues and more.  An expert panel will weigh in on design, tenant, survey and legal issues. This is a must-attend program for owners, developers, redevelopers, engineers, architects, planners, attorneys and environmental professionals.

Part 2 Bonus Session-Agency & Disclosure and Legal Issues for Commercial Real Estate Brokers:  Andrew Houston of Cassidy Turley will guide you through the duties, rights and liabilities of the parties involved in a commercial real estate transaction, including definitions, obligations, acceptable practices, disclosure requirements and potential violations. James Rhatican of Wolff & Samson will cover essential legal aspects of commercial real estate transactions, including broker agreements and agreements of sale, and will lead you through a mock negotiation. Brokers attending this segment will earn two additional credits (for a total of four for the entire program) to meet their licensure requirements for this cycle.
